Finch's sheet was obviously better than my completely manual sheet, but couldn't count everything. I've made one that counts 99% of everything! (percentage not guaranteed).

It's in Google Sheets. It should work in Excel. I know it works in LibreOffice because that's where I made it. It works by counting up the tags you used on RainbowFic. (This means your tags will have to be accurate, or you can modify them in the sheet.)

You can find it here. It has my information in it currently. Make a copy (File>Make a copy) or download it to fill it out.

I've already shared this on the Discord (and if you're on there, it's pinned in the RF channel)

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zj2fLJoXcecgNiVropUlnXI9bVzm68_P?usp=drive_link

It includes:
  • the PSD / AI files for making accomplishment banners; the description and header images for supplies, styles, achievements, etc; and the color list headers;
  • plus a readme to help with that
  • a list of color name ideas. Comment on it to claim one
  • the RF accomplishments checklist shared earlier (post is in the resources tag)
  • the RainbowLists spreadsheet with all the colors, styles, supplies, achievements, and palettes. Please comment on it if you see anything wrong
  • the icons and other images I've made for RF communities and mods
  • Plain text versions of the colors, supplies, styles, and palettes. I'm still working on getting all the colors (and the achievements) in there

First, I have been spending a ridiculous amount of time making a spreadsheet for tracking completed colors, supplies, styles, and accomplishments. Is it overengineered? Yes. Is it not quite perfect yet? Also yes.

Would I like feedback? Also yes!

Second, based on my new favorite kids show, I'd like to propose the color Blue Heeler:

1. Gotta be done
2. For real life?
3. And why should I care?
4. You know what I call this? A good start!
5. How do I jinx it so none of you can talk?
6. Magic claw has no children. His days are free and easy.
7. Is this what you want fairies?! Are you not entertained?!
8. I slipped on my beans!
9. This is what happens when you're unhappy with what you've got, someone's husband eventually gets it!
10. I'm not taking advice from a cartoon dog.
11. We all fail mom school sometimes, but that’s okay.
12. You had one job, Maynard!
13. Sometimes does your outside voice say "yes" when your inside voice really means "no"?
14. I don’t want a valuable life lesson. I just want ice cream.
15. Remember I am always here for you, even if you can't see me, because I love you.
16. I'm the chief scientist, it's my job to figure everything out.
17. Sometimes special people come into our life, stay for a bit and they have to go.
18. The fridge doesn’t like me.
19. Have a little cry, dust myself off, pick myself up, on with the show.
20. Promise me you'll work hard to maintain a strong core, girls.

I've had a few questions on how to track one's supply and styles usage, etc. Previously I posted the accomplishments checklist I made

So how do y'all track your stuff?

I've got a couple of things. On my wordpress blog, I keep track of what I've done and I'm keeping a tally of my supplies and styles. I also have a spreadsheet that does the same thing (click to see it larger)

I'm sure somebody really good with spreadsheets could set up a report or count of the styes and supplies, but I just use find (ctrl+f) to count the number.

I also thought of a document with the supplies/styles and numbered lists of stories, like

Charcoal
  1. “Connection”
  2. “Saudade”
  3. “Running Late”
  4. “Donville’s Morning Prayer”
  5. “Foundation”
  6. “Techrat’s Nightmare”
which is very easy to set up in any word processor.

And while I have you, what are some other questions you've have or had before? Especially if you think it'd be useful to add the q&a sections on @rainbowlist

For example, I'm going to add 'how many supplies can I use with one piece?' Answer: as many as you can make work. I've seen posts with almost 15

I've made up a checklist for the accomplishments and it's available on Google Docs ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/15mv_5jeUIjZQkdEtejD6zg-K_Tl6lNx-jVbvqT9Fg1s ) Feel free to take it, modify it, etc. To use it, either make a copy or download it.

I think the checklist is pretty logical, but just in case, here are some screen captures of it filled out with my stories. You replace the blanks (__) with the story, color, supply, style, etc as appropriate. If you only need one, I just put the blank next to it to save space, but multiples got lists. I put it in the order on the Accomplishments page.

The numbers after the color names in Crayon Box are the prompts I've used.

For the accomplishments that are bigger version of the previous one, I just copied and pasted from the previous. I put the stuff in alphabetical order to make it easier to find (this especially is helpful on Art School, where you need 50 of them.)

For these that need two fills, I separated the fills with a slash (other places that had a whole bunch of matching fills also got stories seperated by slashes, but in that case it meant 'or', not 'and')

Yeah, Art school takes up a whole lot of space.

And for swatch book I put in checkboxes for the colors.

Anyway, that's it. Hope people find it helpful.
