junetide has begun and is open for signups! Never heard of Junetide? It's an original works gift exchange, along the lines of Yuletide for fandom, but set up to coincide with the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere. This is its second year, and the first was a lot of fun!

The way it works is, basically, you offer a list of prompts, and say whether you want to do art or fiction. (Prompts can be for art, fiction, or both.) After signups are closed, there will be posts with the prompts, and claims happen from there. Then, you get to write an awesome story (or do awesome art) for someone else, and you get a gift! It is thrilling! You should join! :D
