Greetings, writers! Summer is upon us, and with it, our second seasonal challenge, Postmodernism.

Set yourself a goal that you think you can complete between today, June 1st, and August 25th. This can be a number of colors completed, a certain palette, a number of styles or supplies used, a word count, a combination of these-- anything that you regard as a challenge. See the Art Nouveau post for examples, here. Comment on this post with your goal.

On August 25th, one of the mods will put up a post where you can comment reiterating your goal and whether or not you completed it. If you complete your goal, you get twenty Novelty Beads prompts, with an additional five prompt for every quarter to third you go over your goal, at the mods' discretion.

Goal-setting runs from today, June 1st, to June 15th. The challenge runs from today, June 1st to August 25th. We will have an Amnesty Week, dates to be determined.

I'm going to go for four Portraits again, and completion of the Secondary Colors and Landscape palettes.

I'm going to lessen my goal this time to finish the Vermillion Tapestry, finish the TV Guide Palette (Platinum Blond), do three Mixed Medias, and a total of 75,000 words.

I'm amending this to add a Sketch and a Performing Art.

Since I'm still pretty new to the comm, I think I'll pick something simple like "finish two colors". XD

My goal is to finish one specific Collage Eraser Illustration that is also (because I do that) a Mosaic, (because it's here) Graffiti, and (because oh god so much detail *flanicks*) Fingerpainting.

The literalist part of my brain is trying with a great deal of amusement to fit all those noises into imagining the actual piece of art. ;-)

Ack, I've been so bad keeping up here, but I will do this! Gonna have to go small on word count though because I have a lot to write this summer.

I'm going to finish 2 colors (Sky Blue and Daffodil), start and complete the color - Steel Grey Guitar, do 5 Canvases, do 4 Sketches (two for each of my main stories: Wavelength, and the unstarted, Raze the City), do a Comic, and write 4,000 words spread across the two previously mentioned stories (2,000 words for each).

I am going to get another origfic bingo card and do at least ten prompts off it, finish the Jewelry Box palette (need an opal, a gold, and sapphire), and complete at least one other palette--either Crime Pays or Record Label. Both, if possible. So, a total of...seven to twelve colors. Yay!
