(no subject)

Tomorrow begins Amnesty Week. Amnesty Week runs from May 18 to May 25 and is when you can finish your personal challenge for Art Nouveau, as well as the following challenges that took place during that time:

- Canvas Challenge
- New Beginnings
- Daffodils in Bloom
- Resurrection Challenge
- April Showers and May Flowers
- Mother’s Day Challenge

Any one piece can only complete one of these challenges.

As you complete any of those, comment here to receive your Novelty Beads. Comment with which challenge it’s for and a link to the relevant fic(s). For Art Nouveau, comment with what your goal was, as well as what you actually achieved. That helps us determine if you get twenty Novelty Beads, or if you get extra for going above and beyond your personal challenge (whether that’s word count or something else). (Art Nouveau awards may take us a bit to determine the number of Beads, just because we may need to consult with one another.)

Comment here for Art Nouveau even if you aren’t taking advantage of Amnesty Week. Just as above, comment with your goal and your actual accomplishment, whether it’s exactly your goal or above and beyond, so we can judge the number of Novelty Beads you get. The same caveat about it possibly taking a bit of time to get back to you applies.

Happy ficcing!

Clarification request: suppose I wrote a 1000+ word saturation on one of the April Showers / May Flowers lists which also takes place entirely before my main canon. Would I be able to claim that piece as filling both the Canvas challenge and the April Flowers challenge, or not? (I'm guessing not.)

A quick clarification question--does this mean that if I'm making up the Mother's Day Challenge, for example, and one of the color prompts I want to use with it comes from a list I planned to complete for Art Nouveau, I can't do that?

(P.S. Did you finish additional colors or anything? I feel like I didn't make that clear. You get bonus prompts if you did.)

(Uhhh, I finished Daffodil for Daffodils in Bloom and did a Lilac Saturation, which didn't quality for May Flowers, if those count? I dunno if they do. I'm super close to finishing Zing, but I doubt that really counts.)

(If you finish Zing by the 25th, it totally counts. I'll talk to the others about Daffodil, since I know you're not the only one for whom it will come up.)

Whee, I has a Canvas Challenge fill! :D 1800 words, wow. (I suspect it of being padded babble - getting over 1000 words is extremely difficult for me - but it is a story. ;S Also it has three scenes in!)

Hmm, okay. My goals were to finish my bichromatic and to use four different Supplies. I didn't do the first (and I won't before the end of amnesty), but I actually used nine different Supplies, if I'm counting correctly. So, not sure what that means in terms of prizes XD
