Well done! I like your solution to some of the outdated generated daily prompt ones, too.

two comments: Colour of the Day was on a separate line, because it's not actually a supply as such - it's a daily substitute colour, and I don't think that's clear here. (You can use the CotD instead of your regular colours/as one of your three Colours for that piece, unlike the supplies/styles which are all additional to the Colour(s) used for the piece).

Use a prompt from a mod-generated bingo card or public card (not one you generate yourself), or from a prompt list from an event like Inktober, Mermay, etc. Please provide a link or screen shot.

This seems to narrow down what pastels are quite a lot (inadvertently, I assume, forgive me, if not) - pastels are prompts from other Dreawmidth or LJ comms & now tumblr etc as well. Obviously it's very good to make sure that the wording does include newer platforms, but this doesn't appear to include fannish prompt tables and similar (allowing origfic writers to borrow from fandom sources for their origfic - pretty much the whole point of the category originally - you could use it here as a pastel, even if you couldn't take part there). Also, the 'generate yourself' bingo rule would exclude [community profile] allbingo cards on a technicality, where you generate your own card from specific monthly set list(s), but as it's still working with a set prompt list and is hardly all that different from the opt-in/opt-out/vetoes system of customisation at [community profile] genprompt_bingo, that doesn't seem desirable to me?)

May I suggest, maybe, something more along the lines of "Use set prompts from other communities and fests hosted on fandom platforms like Dreamwidth, tumblr etc." which specifies that it should be a set community/fest thing and not some random personal challenge or bingo, but hopefully is loose enough to still cover the other categories that have up until now also counted for it? Or "Use prompts from other communities and fests hosted on fandom platforms (tumblr, Dreamwidth etc.), like bingos, prompt tables and set lists for challenges & fests like Whumptober etc."

Cool - thank you! :-) I thought you would be unlikely to really be excluding things previously allowed.

I have a Q&A on my to-do list, but we don't want people to have to refer to it all the time. I'd much rather the descriptions be as clear as possible (without being extremely long)

Sounds very sensible to me!

Well, that's kind of my fault, because I was used to Runaway Tales (which [community profile] rainbowfic was based on) and they are very similar mostly, but I missed RaTs's Flavour of the Day option badly when I first had to switch, so I asked [personal profile] bookblather if we could have CotD. I don't think it's a problem as long as it and Brush use different sites? They serve quite different functions, and I wouldn't want to have inadvertently led to shunting Brush out, because that was not my intention. I just find CotD a really useful sort of escape valve for when I'm stuck with my colours or my canon and it seems to have been picked up by everyone else all right, too.

That sounds like a fun supply to have! Brush is very simple, though, so idk if it would be the best swap for Brush (even if CotD is similar, it can't be used in the same way at all) - but, yes, see what [personal profile] bookblather says! I'm sure they'll like the idea of the bingo anyway. It's a lovely one!

Can you add the tags on rainbowfic for the new supplies, please? (They all look really cool!!!)

Also, a Very minor question (and something I can get used to but it jumped out at me when I went to check)--was there a reason the supply order changed? Canvas and Frame used to be at the top instead of at the bottom, along with a couple other things that moved around. This is Entirely a me problem, but I was using the order they were listed in to track my counts, so it threw me a little when I was going through them/updating my tracking sheet! But again, I can definitely get used to it (especially since adding new things to track, yay!) so it doesn't need to change back, I was just curious.

Haha, it's not that sophisticated. It's a Wordpad file (I didn't have Office when I joined the comm) containing a list, and I update the number every time I post a story using the supply/style--the same file has my open color lists, a list of completed colors/saturations, colors I'm interested in doing when I have an open space, all my available novelty beads, when I've had bingo cards for pastels I put them in there, etc. But after a long time, it's very much a Habit to look at things in that order, so when I was expecting to see/add in
canvas: [number]
frame: [number]
eraser: [number]
etc.; and then canvas and frame weren't where I expected I had a Moment, lol.

I always update it right after posting, so I (theoretically) don't miss any.
