Hello, everyone!

It's been a few months since our last RP, and it's also near the end of the Summer of Whump, during which we said we'd have an RP. Well, since we left it so long to announce, most of it's actually going to take place just after the Summer of Whump.

On Friday, September 6 (or possibly Thursday, September 5, if we get impatient), the RP will start. The catch is that it's going to be hospital-themed. You're welcome to bring your characters as patients, companions of patients, or just people really confused about ending up in a hospital that's based in the modern day. However, we're also looking for healthcare professionals. If you have a doctor, nurse, psychologist, healer, or anyone else who counts as a healthcare professional in their world, we're taking volunteers. Please comment in this post to let us know which character(s) you plan to bring and what their expertise happens to be. Thanks!

I can bring Ineku!

There isn't really specialization in the main timeline of Feredar, but in the Urban Fantasy and In SPACE AU he's a children's/general surgeon, so whichever is better for RP purposes is fine with me.

From Pleasant Surprise I'm planning to bring Alene, she's a healer, and Cassiopeia she's a witch and psychologist.

From Fixed Dreams I'm planing to bring can bring one of Tsukino's best friends, Mianko. She's a general practitioner.

I may be aiming high this time, but I want to bring in Jessica from Changing Tides even though I haven't written about her yet. She's an Oncologist.

This RP sounds like fun. ^^

I'm bringing Summer, who is a forensic pathologist!

If nothing else she'll be good at triage.

Also, Ahava is a psychiatrist.

I'll be bringing Greg, a neurosurgeon; Erica, an anesthesiologist; and Brenda, a nurse practitioner, who is the most practically qualified of the three for usual clinic-type medicine. Not that the others aren't qualified; they've just been specialized even longer than she's been done with her master's.

I also may bring Charles, an OB-GYN, depending on if Geena or Sara wants to bring him.

I'll be bringing John, who is an oncologist; Elisabetta, who is an EMT; Mina, who is a cardiologist with an extra specialty in neuroscience; and Alex, who is not officially trained but has a lot of experience with field/combat type medicine thanks to her job.

I just realized that one of the characters I'm planning on starting to write with soon is a psychologist, so I can bring her along. Her name is Jo.

Good timing! I actually have a whole weekend off coming up, and I've missed this community.

Naveed, a synaesthetic telepath specializing in mental health.
Quicksilver, an inkling (no mouth, nibs for fingernails, communicates by writing), who specializes in medical calligraphy (LSS: Inkling writing has the potential to change reality, and applying it to living organisms is dangerous unless you know exactly what you're asking for.)
Lucent, a lightning shapeshifter who sees the world as electrical impulses and works as a neuroscientist/walking high-resolution EEG for hire.
Bitterdin, also an inkling, stumbling in bleeding copious amounts of black, obviously nonhuman blood.

I think with all of these doctors, I had better bring some patients!

Although, I do have Islington (OBGYN) and Spenser (would-be Frankenstein).

I may be quiet early to mid Saturday due to an appointment that involves dumplings.

I'm probably going to be kind of tentative the first time around, and I don't know how much time I'll have before Saturday trying to finish the rest of Whump, but if anyone would like, I have a pediatrician (Jaymie's mother Anne) and an alchemist with some medical knowledge (Vaska). Or I could just bring patients and other relevant sorts. :3

I also have a biochemist floating around who could easily be a lab tech, but that might be stretching it even if there weren't already a lot of volunteers.

I was going to suggest Levarin, the healer from Arc 10, but given that there's plenty to go around I think I'll bring you a patient - though I have no idea what'll be wrong with them.

So time permitting and with the note I've never done this before, I'll take one of my main trio along. Not entirely sure which one yet, leaning towards Rosa.
