Yes, it's already that time again. Hurray!

So, besides letting you know that you might want to clear your calenders of distractions like "work" and "buying food", I was wondering if maybe anyone wanted to sign up to be part of the interactive setting.

We're doing the dead guy in the villa pool again so to speak, but this time there will be enough dead guys for everyone. If interested in being a dead guy, please do not hesitate to PM me.

...OK, there aren't actually any bodies around*, but if you'd like to bring a character as a vaguely spooky elemental creature.

We're also welcoming talking animals, ponds, trees and rocks.



* Unless you want to play a Shade reanimating a chipmunk or something.

This sounds like the opening to possibly the best reality show ever, Hide The Bodies.

What are the contestants judged on? Creativity/style for the kill itself, victim selection, creativity of dumping method/site...

Oh! There should totally be separate challenges designed for subtlety vs being super memorable.

...The idea of Kostya (the person I usually throw into these RP things) meeting a vaguely spooky elemental creature makes me laugh because I'm pretty sure he has it up to here with creepy land spirits and stuff.

Nemo could just be Nemo. I think that works just fine.

Although, it's primarily Shades that turn into cats for the sorcerers' AU, such as will be employed for the setting.

Shades...
-Are "naturally" manifested as a small, cool-colored glow with bat wings, a long tail and a vaguely rodent-y suggestion of a head. Shifting to other forms is nearly effortless for older Shades, but younger ones might need help from a sorcer-sort.
-Are etheral and cold, mostly. Making a body or clothing is the tricky part.
-Can bestow the ability to manipulate shadows OR something close to being an invoker/evoker on their human; the Shade themselves will also have this power. Possibly both. Both is for plebe-eating Shade Queens (paging Miranda...)
-Are not crazy over sunlight, though they can get used to it.

Er would a ghost or a Necromancer who could bring dead bodies and move them around to different areas of the villa count? Albert and Susie would like to know.

They will have other sorcers to chat with if they opt to come.

Sorcers who can't actually do that and will shower them with envy. Possibly snarky salamanders.
