This is the place for any questions or suggestions you have for rainbowfic , rainbowlists , and rainbowlounge . This includes 'how does this work?', 'does this supply or style count for this?' and 'what are the limits on this?'

There are a good amount of things that have fuzzy limits or definitions and that's okay. You're allowed to use your judgement of how to use a list, supply, style, etc. But I also want to acknowledge that not everyone is comfortable with ambiguity and that some people need more concrete answers. So this is where to get those (and then it'll be added to the appropriate page). But there are no tag/prompt/writing police here

Anyone can answer (please, if you've been here longer, jump in and help). Please take time to check what the different rainbowlists pages say because they might have the answer, but don't be afraid to ask something that seems obvious: it may be that I need to clarify a description or q&a. Checking the tags on rainbowfic to see how something has been used is also a good way to get answers, or at least precedent.

I'll check these posts at least once a week and I'll be using these as a resource to find things that need to be added or improved in the q&as on Rainbowlist

I apologize that I haven't been quite as available, but I'm doing my best. I really need to prep these ahead of time...

I misunderstood how to use novelty beads (read too fast and did not pay attention, very me), so I have mis-tagged several works. Could you please remove the novelty beads tag from the following works?

can I write about my pokemon ocs if I hide the fact they're pokemon (this is about fangs and azu but I am considering having the rest of aster and hexis friend group be regular pokemon too so-)

As long as it's not obvious, yes. We'd prefer if you wrote completely original stuff, but as long as you stay within the guidelines for gesso/mosaic, you should be fine

1. yeah fair. I do want to do like. all of angel cake as a whole fic about my guy chip (a cat) sometime, tho I should probably post everything I made for drabblefest first and then knock out some other prompts

I am sure this has been asked before, but does "Color of the Day" fall under supplies... or colors? It counts as one of the three colors allowed for one piece, so you could have color 1, color 2, color of the day, but for accomplishments tracking, which is it?

Color of the Day is a color, for tracking purposes and posting purposes.

So, even though it is only one work, it would count towards the Crayon Box accomplishment (8 completed colors)?

I don't think it does. It's for when nothing on in your current lists is working for you at the moment.

There are three new accomplishments that require Color of the Day (Theater Kid, Tie-Dye, and Level Up)

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense for a single story to work as a completed color, even if it technically is/should be.
