And also I really want an excuse to play with he setting I mentioned and potentially develop nomadic packs of assassins because who doesn't need those in their lives?

I HAVE READ THIS! :D It is so lovely. I have it on audio and it is a lovely listen, I have to say. It's actually one of my 'refresh the well' books.
