Challenge: Hollywood Reboot

For this challenge which I definitely did not ask mod approval for, task is to reboot either your own or someone else's story (with permission) like a completely unnecessary Hollywood reboot - make nonsensical plot changes, assure that your casting is as improbable (and possibly offensive) as possible, and remember to get that Strong Female Character in there!

The jig is up when the mods are back but for every piece of reboot fiction, "casting" post or faux movie trailer you post, I'll make sure I sneak a novelty bead in your pocket later.

Late as usual, but I just wanted to note that my stuff is also up for grabs.

*shrugs* I've only really got the one story big enough to do anything with, that's Mort/James, unless you want to pull a Polar Express and add unnecessary explosions to one of the standalone short-shorts in JT's Mixed Bag. Or, well, I never had any real idea what to do with There's a Hole in the Library, a terrible reboot of that one might actually give me some ideas. XD Or, of course, feel free to grab my Robin character from the RP and do something with them -- that'd fit the spirit of the rules-breaking challenge, I imagine, since Robin hasn't actually appeared here on Rainbowfic yet! XD

(Short answer: I don't know, decision-making is not my strong point, pick something. Also thanks. ^_^)
