Um, that said. Are we meant to be disguising our writing or are we just introducing them? And if we have more than one story, do we write more than one piece?

Just a suick question about the story introductions... :-/

Are we to write a story about what our stories are about? A story in a story, so to say...
Or are we just to introduce them. As in: this story is about this, and these are the caracters, and it's inspired by this, and that happens, and there are these twists in the AU's...

I was thinking more of a story which is indicative of your other stories. Something you would link people to if you had no intro; something that would answer the question "what are your stories like?"

But, if you wanted to get meta and have the characters discuss their lives/the story, that would be cool too. Don't feel you need to pull off narrative hijinks just because though!

I've started writing something. I'm not sure how well it fits your parameters as an introduction since the storyline is rather long, but it has Kostya, Zita and Vale. XD

And I'm starting to think I'll need to buckle down and choose which stories I'm most likely going to work on for the challenges here! The easiest thing for me is the music. Summarising half of this is so difficult when I can't just say "there are monsters and shit hits the fan". I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. c:

I've been having good luck with mine. I naturally write rambling, episodic things, but my original "what is going on" notes were made from various papers found under my bed.

You know, I may not be the best source of information in that regard. But hey, if you try something and it doesn't work for you- try again!

"there are monsters and shit hits the fan" works for the twenty words or less. I'd read the hell out of that story anyway.

I swear I will get mine in on time. I've had a rough week.

I've got a question. My piece is going to be a crossover between my canon and a second story I'm working on, reason being the second story is metafiction and I could have the characters discuss the story and their roles in it. Would that count as a mosaic if I posted it, or are mosaics only for crossovers involving someone else's canon?

Ugh, I'm sorry. I may have to go back on that. Emergency happened tonight and unless I can bash something out tomorrow then I don't know if I can get this done. It really depends on if one happens then... but there is no way I can get anything done tonight. There's too much going on I have to defuse.
