Sorting

So, for a long list of reasons largely involving procrastination and laziness, I started thinking about Sorting my various characters into Hogwarts Houses. Some of mine are obvious--Kesshare, Rema, Kit (all  in Slytherin), Taz, Andrell, Isshiri (all pretty textbook Gryffindors)--and some are less so (freaking Sorell, man, who turned out to be a Hufflepuff). Have any of you guys thought about it before? Which of your characters goes where?

Here's a pretty good quiz for Sorting people, if you need it.

James is ALL THE HUFFLEPUFF, because obviously. ;-) Mort... I think is a Ravenclaw - smart and kind of uptight (I'm not sure uptight people are technically Ravenclaws, because I do not know the canon here, but I certainly can't think of any other house where someone who gets nervous about Following The Rules Properly would fit in at all).

Janna is a Gryffindor - bossy, brisk, and outrageous. Sally-Kate's hard to categorize, because I have never yet gotten that girl to be IN a scene instead of lurking around the edges! :P Same goes for Raymond. Julie's too young to sort; Melrinda's definitely another Ravenclaw. Who've I left out? Oh, of course: Nell. Hufflepuff, of the quiet shy easily-scared sort. And Eddie: book-devouring but also adventure-loving... I'mma put him in Gryffindor. Although I think most eight-year-old boys have Gryffindor qualities, really.

OMG WHAT. *looks at pattern* Discounting Julie, I have one from the older generation and one from the younger as each House, if Sally-Kate and Raymond are both Slytherins. (It's hard to figure out what besides "this is an evil character" is actually a trait of Slytherins, from what I've heard, and neither of them are...) That is sort of impressive.

Yeah, Mort sounds Ravenclawy. He and Summer would get along fantastically and she's deeeefinitely a Hufflepuff.

ETA: Also, Slytherins tend to be ruthless, ambitious, and the sort of people you never want to fuck with. Basically, where Gryffindors would attack straight on, Ravenclaws would build elaborate traps, and Hufflepuffs would try to negotiate, Slytherins would sneak in the back and take you down when you aren't looking.

So Loki and Natasha are both Slytherins? This makes a lot of sense, actually.

(Looking at this list: Tony and Clint are Ravenclaws, Steve's a Hufflepuff, Thor's a Gryffindor, and Bruce it's hard to tell about because all his actions are affected by him trying to work around or with the Other guy. The best spies are usually Slytherins but Phil's actually a Ravenclaw, which is why he was not devious enough to avoid getting stabbed by Loki. And Fury just glares at the sorting hat until it bursts into flames. XD)

Yes, exactly! Natasha in particular is veeeeeery much a Slytherin.

(I'd argue that Clint is a Slytherin, actually, and that Bruce is a Ravenclaw, since he wound up with the Other Guy as a result of relentless experimentation.)

Ivy is deeeefinitely a Gryffindor, bless her hear. All her act first and think later. Danny's also a Gryffindor. Aaron and Olivia are in Hufflepuff, Jake and Gina are both Slytherins-- or Jake might be a Ravenclaw, hard to tell. Summer's definitely a Ravenclaw. Lars is... Lars is tough. The sorting hat tied him with everything but Hufflepuff and I don't even know.

As for Shine Like It Does, Miranda is Slytherin as hell. Charlotte's your classic Hufflepuff. Jack is... hard but I think I'd place him in Hufflepuff.

Lars might be a split category. I know it's not supposed to happen in HP, you have to be put somewhere... but even after my youngest sister refined the Sorting Hat categories / picked out the most important facets so that it's easy to put almost anyone in one or another, I'm an even-split Ravenclaw/Gryffindor. Always have been, probably always will be. And my dad is an even-split Ravenclaw/Slytherin, WHICH SAYS MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT MY DAD. ;P

You're probably right, in which case he'd be the bizarre split of Slytherin/Hufflepuff. Which, just. What.

Let's see Bernard would definitely be in Gryffindor, Alene would be in Ravenclaw, Albert would also be in Gryffindor since he goes along with many of Bernard's plans before it kicks in that they should have thought it through. XD Claire would be a Slytherin while Axel would be a Gryffindor and Seth would be one as well.

Adam is a Ravenclaw like his uncle Raynard, Chris is a Gryffindor, Michelle is a Slytherin, Kia is a Hufflepuff, Enzi is a Hufflepuff, Bello is a bit hard, but he would be in Slytherin, Angelique is also a Gryffindor.

Albert is a cross between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, but I would put him in Ravenclaw. I'm pretty sure Susie would be in Hufflepuff.
