The Bar At The End of the Universe
Things are shifting. Points in space and time are connecting in ways they’ve never connected before. Bridges are materializing where there once was nothing.
There are cosmic signs appearing across the universes. They’re all pointing to the same place.
OOC: Sorry for the delay! If any questions come up, remember there’s this post where you can ask.

"Any ale will do," she replied, "so long as it's not very strong." She could hold her drink well enough, but who knew potent these ales and wines were, in this place with small fires that couldn't burn?

An ale for her. Emilia thought a moment before ordering another glass of wine for herself and a Newcastle Brown Ale for Yuyan. It shouldn't be too strong for her, though it might not taste exactly like ale she was familiar with. "I think that should be all right for you."

"Thank you," she told Emilia. "I would be so lost if it wasn't for your help."

"A plate of French fries," she said to the bartender, "with ketchup." She didn't know if Yuyan would like it or not, but it was always worth trying.

"Ketchup? What's that?"
no subject
"Ketchup is a kind of sauce that's slightly sour and slightly sweet. People often use it with potatoes."

Slightly sour and slightly sweet. Like fruit. "Do they use plums to make this ketchup?"
no subject
"They use tomatoes. They are a fruit that is somewhat savory, but still has sweetness to it. I think you'll like it."
One of Dan's servers brought their drinks and the plate of fries then, and Emilia gestured for Yuyan to eat.

The fries were cut into long, thin fingers, and they smelled appetizing enough, although at this point anything would have been delicious to Yuyan. She dipped one in the red sauce (the ketchup, probably) and took a dainty bite.
"It's good!" she exclaimed.

She liked Yuyan; she reminded her of some of her nieces.

Emilia reminded her a bit of Grandma and Abbess Sun--Grandma's age, without the strictness, and the gentle patience of Abbess Sun.
