The Bar At The End of the Universe

Things are shifting. Points in space and time are connecting in ways they’ve never connected before. Bridges are materializing where there once was nothing.

"That's all the same in our world," Sam said with a nod. "Do you have Jacob yet?" he added, curiously. In a shyer voice, he added, "Lately we've been talking about another."

Eileen slid an arm around Sam's back. Confidently, she added, "About Sam being the biological father this time."

"Um, yes, we have Jacob, and I need to wrap my head around that for a second, because I assume you don't mean artificial insemination." Torey rubbed his forehead for a moment before saying, "We're talking about having another eventually, too, maybe next year. Including our Sam in the discussion, obviously, even though he keeps being baffled at how much he's part of the family."
