Definition of "story"?

Hi! I've been posting on rainbowfic and intend to start doing so again, but here's the thing: I don't really have overarching "stories", I just have characters and 'verses and write whatever pops into my head about each of them. I posted my first ten fics under "Quality of Mercy" because they were all connected and meant to form a whole. But now I want to write more fics in the same universe and I'm a bit stumped... 

I could use the name of the blog I've been using to collect my modern original stories (peccadilloparlour) and RP characters, even though it's not a "story", but then I'd probably go back and re-tag the old fics with it, because it's all taking place in the same 'verse? Do you guys have any thoughts about this?

I'm not a mod here, but I have comms of my own elsewhere that I do the tagging for, so it shouldn't be a problem in that regard? The mods should be able to just rename the existing "quality of mercy" tag into whatever new one you decide is better - I like piccadillo parlour for a loosely connected 'verse. It sounds cool!

Yeah, I have a feeling it's just another way to sort a series of writings if you have a bunch and someone wanted to read them all. I know you can do multiple stories, but I have a feeling there is a limit to how many the mods can have (correct me if I'm wrong!) so maybe it would be good to put all of the misc. into peccadilloparlour and then ask for new story titles if you have a separate series you want to call out.

Drayyyyyy :D You're the one who got me into Stand Still Stay Silent! I only joined the lounge now, though I was already in rainbowfic.

I would probably separate my stories into modern and Regency characters, though there's further splits--mundane version or supernatural, specifically, and having AU versions of Regency characters in modern verse. Then there's Milliner Mysteries and the 60s pulp verse with its own characters, but I haven't written either of those for Rainbowfic yet. Oh dear...

But yeah, all current ones could go under Peccadillo Parlour. I'll ask the mods!
