Summer Challenge!
That's right, everyone, it's time for the summer challenge! This year, in honor of one of the mods' new (-ish) job, we're doing Summer Reading.
SUMMER READING

Reading Playlists: Make a mixed media for your or someone else's story, with five songs or more. Five novelty beads each.
Genre Bingo: Comment here for a bingo card. Get three across for a bingo. One novelty bead per bingo, or fifteen for a blackout.
Flash Fiction: tell a story in three sentences or less. This can be a miniature or not, the sentences can be as long or as short as you want, but there can be only three. One novelty bead per fic.
Freaking Tolstoy: Write a mural. Ten novelty beads per the complete story. Bonus novelty beads may be added if the story actually involves Tolstoy.
Classics/Postmodernism: Write a canvas or a frame respectively. One novelty bead per 500 words or fraction thereof.
Library Day: "Borrow" someone else's work and write a story set in that universe. Crossovers count. One novelty bead per 500 words or fraction thereof.
Find a Reading Buddy: Co-write a story with someone. One novelty bead per 500 words or fraction thereof.
Book of the Day:Write a story using the same daily supply for at least three days in a row. Five novelty beads for a three-day streak, with one additional bead for each additional day.
English Major: 10 novelty beads per literary color completed. Qualifying colors listed here: https://rainbowlists.dreamwidth.org/tag/theme:+literary
Read an Hour a Day: Our annual prompt draw event. Date TBA but probably sometime in August. One novelty bead per story.
And as always, we'll have Lillith Faire sometime during the summer. You can't always be reading. Date and rewards TBA, but probably sometime in July.
Also as always, if any members have events they'd like to run, go ahead and do so! The mods will back any novelty bead promises.
