Why is writing so goddamn hard?

Or, is anyone else having a hard time writing this year? Everything seems to be going to hell in a handbasket so my writing might as well go along, is how I apparently feel.

Yeah, writing is slow as hell this year and I don't entirely know why. I'm tired so often, it's just like...how? How do people make words all the time as well as doing all the other things they do?
