queer_bigbang is a Big Bang that allows fiction, both original and fan, that deals with the queer experience. For purposes of the Big Bang, queer includes lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, genderqueer, asexual, intersex, and transgender characters.

I know a lot of people here write queer characters. The Big Bang doesn't require that it be a new 'verse, just that the story hasn't been started before and that it can stand alone. It must be a minimum of 10,000 words.

Signups are open until June 14. There's also a need for artists, if you'd prefer to do that.

Lol, I'm doing two. I did two for smallfandombang, now I'm doing two for this. It only seems fair that I rope in others.

Oh dear, I really couldn't do two with the same deadline! I just finished witchesbigbang, now I'm working hard on bigbang_mixup to try to finish it at least before the final deadline, and then I have casestory and cm_bigbang. Plus, you know, all the rainbowfic stories I want to write and the other fiction I'm trying to write for publication!

If I had ever written CM fic, I'd probably sign up for the next round of cm_bigbang. As it is, I'm tempted to do that.

I couldn't do bigbang_mixup. I just couldn't write an entire story to fit a mix, though I can do a songfic challenge (someone gives me songs, I write fic with linked, though individual, small stories for each). I could do the mix part! But not the writing.

I forgot that I also have originalbigbang to do! Man, I need to get on that one once I reread the rules.

I'm also doing art for each Big Bang I do. It's not much, but it's a contribution, I figure, and it's fair if I want someone to do art for me.

And you're right! There's all that rainbowfic, all that publication stuff (I'm doing a ~novel~ (tildes so I don't take myself too seriously) one slow chapter at a time, editing as I go)...
