She laughs, seeming to be quite amused by the idea of such things. "Well, it must get dull for the doors," she muses. "They have to hate leading you to the same place all the time. Maybe letting them get a little variation in their lives allows them to function normally most of the time."

"Things shift," she explains after a moment. "They are fluid and always changing. I've been in situations where doors don't do what I expect, but I've never been here. It's interesting."
