Also known as the DEAR GOD bird. Once an occasional sight in the Southeastern US and Cuba, the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker has unfortunately been extinct for some decades now. OR ARE THEY? Well, I'd tend to think people would remember seeing one of these suckers dive-bombing anybody who got too close to their nests. It's scarier than a crow to me. I was trying not to be cliche >_>.
