He scented the air, mouth open slightly, turning his head slowly from one side to the other, and caught the scent of felines. Closer to demis than to 'cats, but still, felines.
He crouched down and crept through the meadow for a few steps, but the grass wasn't high enough to hide him. So he just stood and walked over to the human who smelled of felines, every confidence in the world that he couldn't be harmed by her. Mostly because, at close range, he had the weapon advantage.
"You smell like felines."
