Podficathon

[personal profile] sharpeningthebones had a great idea for a podficathon. A podfic is when you take a fic and record yourself reading it. For this particular podficathon, readers will record others' fics. This counts as Performing Art and Collage, and you'll get a Novelty Bead for each piece recorded. Readers may only record pieces for which they have permission.

Edit: It also counts as Graffiti, since it's a Lounge-based challenge that is not an art movement. Apologies for forgetting that before!

The best site for hosting your podfic Box, which will allow you to embed the file, as well as let others download it if they prefer. In order to embed, you'll need to click the "Embed Media" button on the post page. You could also post it to YouTube, SoundCloud, or Vocaroo (which does not provide permanent storage). If you want to just post a download link, SendSpace and MediaFire are good bets. There is no limit on how many you may record, and there is no deadline.

Authors, if you're interested in having your fic recorded, leave a comment and a list of fics you do or do not want read aloud. Readers, if you want to record something not listed, ask the author first. Once you've recorded it and posted to [community profile] rainbowfic, leave a link here, and you'll get your Novelty Bead.

We're really looking forward to seeing what you do. Have fun!

All my pieces are up for recording. Let me know which piece you're interested in doing so I can make sure that there's no words I missed.

Sure thing! :)

Tsukino's name is pronounced Tsu: Tsoo, Ki: sounds like Key and No: which sounds like no

Tsoo key no

I hope that helps! Here's a handy guide with audio guides too.
