"That's all right," Gina said. "You never know when somebody will want coddling, after all. Especially in the later stages of pregnancy." She rolled her eyes. "I love my wife, but sometimes I feel fat and hideous and she just pats me on the head and tells me I'm lovely. Like that fixes anything."
