"That makes sense," Teresa said thoughtfully. She couldn't imagine not seeing art all the time. Or, she could, but the times she had a hard time picturing something only lasted a couple of days and were so far apart that they were hard to remember.
At the question about her family, she grinned. "I have seventeen brothers and sisters. Two are missing, though--their mama took them away. And nine nieces and nephews, and Pop has Mama and then six girlfriends, and he has six brothers and sisters, and most of them have kids, and Mama has four sisters who all have kids, and some of my cousins have kids, too. My whole family's never all together, Mama's family is still in Italy and so are Pop's parents, and Pop's brothers and sisters are all across America."
