"Well, we're between rainy seasons," said Roa. And allegedly, the monsoon was late, though she hadn't yet been treated to the excitement that was a smeary black city downpour. Only the repeated growly threats of one. "I've only ever seen miele growing on fallen trees and we were always told that was because they like the rot. But, you've got me wondering- perhaps it was because the holes in the canopy let in more sunshine."
