Janna nodded. "Thanks. What century?" So, more sci-fi than fantasy, then, if those terms even applied. She was still going to keep her eyes wide open: there was just kind of a fairy-tale feel to this place, like saying the wrong thing or taking the wrong turn could get you turned into a frog... though she supposed that was a natural way to feel after she'd already taken one wrong turn and landed here. If her premonitions were really accurate enough to worry about, she'd've felt a warning before she stepped through the door.
But as long as she was supposed to be on far-future Earth - "Oh, and what part of Earth?" she added to the barkeeper - she didn't feel too hopeless about getting back. It wasn't as likely she'd stepped through a magic portal that only opened once every thousand years as it would be if she'd wound up in an actual magical realm. She was aware that her genre-savviness might be all wrong, but straight-up time travel seemed a bit safer, more likely to be tech-controlled and easily reversible. Janna believed in magic, but she didn't trust it.
So, for now, might as well enjoy herself. Cautiously. "And, uh, what d'you have to drink?"
