I'm sorry to bother you again about this Colour of the Day thing. The comm is quiet and I understand perfectly if you'd rather not!
But if you really are happy to do so and lack of a banner is the only thing stopping it happening, well, I have had a go at making one. (The font used in most of the comm banners seems, unfortunately, to be some variant on Core Sans G (probably outline or neon or cube, it's not clear) which is paid-only. However, Futura otherwise matches exactly in style - just no little outline. So, I thought, make it black instead of white in a This One's Meant To Be Different way! Size etc. is of course the same):

White font with shadow:
(I can alter them or use a different pic of course).
Plus c+p sample coding for hyperlink button-y thing (although it'd probably be best to re-upload the image for your own use. imgur seems fine so far, but... ):
